DeloBet ("we", "our", or "the app") is a social betting application where friends wager on real-life events using an in-app wallet. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

When you use DeloBet, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: Email address, username, display name, and date of birth provided during registration.
- Betting activity: Bets created, accepted, and settled within rooms, including stakes, choices, and outcomes.
- Wallet and payment data: Wallet balance, transaction history, top-up and cashout records. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your full credit card number or bank account details.
- Room data: Rooms you create or join, and associated membership information.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the DeloBet app and its features.
- Manage your account, wallet, and betting activity.
- Process payments, top-ups, and cashout requests via Stripe.
- Enable room creation, invitations, and real-time notifications.
- Verify your age and eligibility to use the app.
- Communicate with you about your account or app updates.
- Ensure fair play and resolve disputes between users.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted backend platform with row-level security and encryption. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Services
DeloBet uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication, database, and real-time functionality.
- Stripe: Payment processing for wallet top-ups and cashouts. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
- Expo: App framework and build services.
These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
5. Camera Permissions
DeloBet may request access to your device camera. This is used solely for scanning QR codes to join rooms. No images are stored or transmitted.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your betting activity and wallet balance are visible only to members of rooms you have joined. Payment information is shared only with Stripe for the purpose of processing transactions.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your account and betting data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly within the app from the Profile screen. When you delete your account:
- Your profile, wallet, and all associated data are permanently deleted.
- Any active bets are cancelled and stakes are refunded to all participants.
- Rooms you created will be removed.
- This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
DeloBet is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We require date of birth verification during registration and do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and all associated data from within the app.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
